Taipan has just released a tour video featuring new music with special guest Dianne Van Giersbergen from the European symphonic goth band XANDRIA.
The lyrics are inspired by the famous 12-line poem by Sara Teasdale called “There Will Come Soft Rains“. The poem describes how the Earth’s other living things, and implicitly nature as a whole, are unaffected.
TAIPAN’s new song “Soft Rains” marks the closure of their debut album, “SFTU” and the start of recording their new album, “The Nine Battlegrounds,” co-written and performed by Ahrue Luster (Ill Nino, Machinehead), Ed Mowery (Tiwanaku, Nocturnus) and MIke Heller (Fear Factory). Performers on the new album include Mike Albert (Megadeth), Tony Campos (Static X), Mike Guerrero (Hirax) and many other talented icons.
Taipan’s new song, “Pestilence” will be released on October 31, 2017.
